Documenting concealed works before they are covered

We capture walls and ceilings while service runs, reinforcement and connections are still exposed. A year later, when you need to locate a riser or confirm what was installed, you will not have to open up the structure. Everything remains in the tour, accessible via a link.

Why document concealed works?

  • Take the guesswork out of drilling. Two years later, someone installs a bracket, hits a pipe and brings the site to a halt for a week. With a survey record, you can see exactly where the pipe runs before you start drilling.
  • Locate a problem without opening up the wall. Use the record to locate a leak or cable break, rather than opening up one section after another.
  • Verify completed work. Six months later, you can show that reinforcement and service runs were installed as approved, without relying on verbal accounts or uncertain memories.
  • Hand over the site with the data needed to operate it. The facilities team receives a site record they can walk through and inspect, rather than just a folder of inspection reports.

What we capture

Electrical installations — cable routes, socket back boxes and distribution boards before they are covered
Plumbing — pipework, manifolds and connection points
Ventilation — ductwork and connections above the ceiling lining
Reinforcement and structural connections — before concrete is poured and structures are enclosed
Underfloor heating — the heating circuit before screeding

The result: a site you can walk through virtually

Phone photos only do half the job: they record whatever happens to be in the frame, and finding the area you need a year later is almost impossible.

We deliver a tour of your site — a link that opens in your browser. You can walk through the rooms, zoom in on any part of a wall and take measurements: the height of a pipe or how many centimetres a cable runs from a corner.

  • The link remains accessible for years and can be handed over with the property
  • Works on your phone on site, so you can check before drilling
  • No software or files to download: just open the link and explore

When to capture the site

Once services are installed. Pipes and cables are in place but still exposed
Before lining and screeding. Framing is in place, plasterboard has not been fitted and the floor screed has not been poured
We capture the site in one shift. A floor of up to 1 500 м² in one visit, with no need to stop work
Your link is ready in a few days. The site's condition is recorded as of the capture date

Who this is for

Client-side technical managers — sign off work before it is concealed, with a visual record alongside the formal certificate
For finishing contractors — resolve questions about what was installed and how it was routed
Property owners — avoid opening up finishes every time repairs are needed
For facilities teams — see what is inside the walls without searching for old drawings

Recording work before it is concealed can easily be combined with construction progress monitoring: the same visit documents the building services and provides a report on the site's condition on that date.
